Design & Fit
The quality of the machining and overall design of this product sets it apart from any other aftermarket handbrake handle on the global market. The gentle curve from the base to the top feels ergonomically correct and the internal design of the handle ensures a snug fit against the handbrake shaft. We have put a lot of focus on the fitment of the handle which is where a lot of aftermarket handles fail – they simply secure at the base leaving the front free to move and vibrate against the shaft. Our handbrake handles incorporate 2 internally set Viton O-rings which allow for a perfect fit eliminating any vibration while in use.
Release Button
Whereas most other aftermarket handles keep the standard plastic release button, we have taken that extra step and developed an oversized stainless steel button for a finished look. The button compliments the handle and feels substantially more satisfying to use than its standard small plastic counterpart. We have now updated the design featuring a sloped front to provide a more OEM look and added a PVD coated version. These new release buttons are available to buy seperately for those who have the previous style Storm Handbrake handles.
That old saying - "you get what you pay for" could not be more readily applied here!
Like our shift knobs, pictures don't do it justice - you have to see and hold this in person to really appreciate it.
Available in brushed stainless steel and PVD Titanium Plated for a bespoke dark gun metal grey finish. The release button comes in both finishes too. Fits all current BMWs including E39, E46, E90, Z3, Z4 etc.
